1. Service Identity

Ijoba is a cloud-based software platform that provides businesses with tools to manage, store, process and organize business data, workflows, communications, documents and related information.

The service is designed to centralize information, facilitate operational management and improve interactions between businesses, teams and customers.

In these Terms, "Ijoba", "we", "us", "our" or "the Platform" refers to the Ijoba service and the person or entity legally operating it.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account, accessing or using Ijoba, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies that form part of the service.

If you use Ijoba on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have sufficient authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Definitions

Account: a registration used to access the Platform.

Customer: a company, organization or individual using Ijoba to manage its operations.

User: a person authorized by the Customer to use the Platform.

Customer Data: information entered, uploaded, stored or processed by the Customer or its Users through Ijoba.

4. Accounts and Access

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information and keeping account information up to date.

Each User must keep their credentials confidential and must not share them with unauthorized third parties.

Where available, Ijoba may provide multi-factor authentication or other additional security mechanisms.

5. Use of the Platform

Ijoba provides tools for managing information, customers, cases, tasks, documents, communications, workflows and other business processes.

Available functionality may vary depending on the plan, configuration, integrations and evolution of the service.

6. Customer Data

The Customer retains ownership and responsibility for Customer Data entered into the Platform.

The Customer determines the purposes and means of processing data managed through Ijoba where applicable to its own activities.

Ijoba will primarily process such data to provide, maintain, protect and improve the service in accordance with the Customer's instructions and applicable agreements.

7. Security and Data Isolation

Ijoba implements reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information stored on the Platform.

The service architecture is designed to maintain logical separation between data belonging to different Customers.

However, no system connected to the Internet can guarantee absolute security.

8. Public Content and Websites

Certain functionality may allow Customers to publish information through websites, public pages, forms or other channels.

The Customer is responsible for the content it chooses to publish and for obtaining any required authorizations and legal bases.

9. Integrations and Third-Party Services

Ijoba may integrate with third-party services to provide additional functionality.

The use of such services may be subject to separate terms and policies established by the relevant third party.

10. Availability

Ijoba will make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available. However, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, third-party providers, events beyond our reasonable control or other circumstances.

11. Acceptable Use

Customers and Users must use Ijoba in accordance with applicable law, these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.

The Platform may not be used for unlawful activities, unauthorized access to information or systems, attempts to bypass security mechanisms, introduction of malware or deliberate interference with the service.

12. Intellectual Property

Ijoba, including its software, architecture, interfaces, designs, code, documentation, trademarks and other components developed by Ijoba, belongs to Ijoba or their respective rights holders.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Platform to the Customer.

13. Plans and Payments

Where certain functionality is subject to payment, the Customer must comply with the financial terms applicable to the selected plan.

Prices, limits and functionality may change in accordance with applicable commercial conditions.

14. Suspension

Ijoba may temporarily suspend or limit an account when reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, comply with legal obligations, investigate abuse, address security issues or respond to violations of these Terms.

15. Termination and Data

The Customer may stop using the service in accordance with the conditions of its plan.

Following termination, Ijoba may temporarily retain certain data for the period necessary to allow export or recovery, comply with legal obligations or apply its retention policies.

16. Changes to the Service and Terms

Ijoba may modify features, functionality and these Terms when necessary.

Where a change is material, reasonable notice will be provided when appropriate.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ijoba will not be responsible for damages resulting from unauthorized use of an account, inaccurate information provided by the Customer, third-party services or events beyond its reasonable control.

18. Governing Law

These Terms will be interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the operator of Ijoba, without prejudice to mandatory rules that may apply to the Customer or its Users.
